Christmas Treat Talks is an inspirational series of lectures and workshops about studying abroad, but also on many other interesting topics presented by the Bakala Foundation scholars and experts in the field.

WHO IS THE EVENT FOR?
It is intended for all high school students aged 14 to 19, whether they come alone or with their class and teacher.
WHAT CAN YOU LOOK FORWARD TO?
- A series of lectures and workshops in 25-45 min blocks in the Czech language. Students can choose which topics they want to focus on and which lectures they will attend.
- The lecturers are scholars of the Scholarship program who study (or have graduated from) at foreign universities, but also graduates of other programs of the Bakala Foundation such as the Journey journalism program or the architectural competition Kaplicky Internship, as well as other experts from various fields.
- In the Minuta hall you will find info stands of partner organizations DofE, Discover (Discover Summer Academy), American Councils Czechia (FLEX) and Nadační fond sportovců.
- Those interested in studying abroad can talk to: Jana Wittbergerová - Scholarship manager, Denisa Maková - High School Scholarships manager, and Kristýna Burdová Borsodi, study advisor.
- Refreshments and drinks will be provided during breaks.
